Commercial and Industrial Floors

A commercial floor is part of the brand. Customers see it before they see the product, staff stand on it all day, and it has to survive carts, chairs, spills and cleaning chemicals without looking tired. A properly installed epoxy system gives you a seamless, non-porous surface that is easy to clean, resists chemicals and abrasion, and can be finished in a solid colour, a decorative flake or a metallic look that fits your space.

Every commercial floor starts with the slab. We diamond-grind the concrete to open the surface so the epoxy bonds mechanically, repair cracks, spalls and joints, and test for moisture before anything is applied. Then we build the system in layers: primer, body coats and a topcoat chosen for the traffic, with slip-resistant aggregate where floors get wet and cove base where walls meet the floor in kitchens, washrooms and wet areas.

Warehouses, distribution centres and plants are hard on concrete. Forklift and pallet-jack wheels grind at the surface, dropped loads chip it, and oil, hydraulic fluid and cleaning chemicals soak into bare slabs. An industrial epoxy system seals the concrete, cuts dusting, brightens the space and gives you a surface that is far easier to sweep and scrub.

Polished Concrete and Grind and Seal

Polished concrete is the floor itself, refined. The slab is ground with progressively finer metal-bond and resin-bond diamonds, hardened with a densifier and polished to the sheen you choose: a soft matte, a satin glow or a reflective high gloss. There is no coating to peel or wear through, which is why polished concrete is a favourite for showrooms, retail, offices, lobbies, warehouses and modern homes.

Grind and seal gives you much of the look of polished concrete at a lower cost. The slab is diamond-ground to remove the weak top layer, stains and minor imperfections, then finished with a clear protective sealer that brings out the colour of the concrete and adds a soft sheen.

Garage Floors Built for Ontario Winters

A finished garage floor changes the whole room. Bare concrete dusts, stains and flakes under road salt; a properly installed epoxy system turns it into a bright, seamless, easy-clean surface that looks like a showroom and stands up to hot tires, salt brine, oil and dropped tools.

The difference between a floor that lasts and one that peels is preparation. DIY kits and quick jobs go over etched or barely cleaned concrete; we diamond-grind every garage slab, repair cracks and spalls, and then build the system in layers, typically an epoxy base coat, a decorative flake or solid colour, and a durable clear topcoat chosen for UV and abrasion resistance.

Basement Floors, Moisture-Tested

An epoxy basement floor is bright, seamless and easy to clean, with no grout lines or carpet to trap moisture and odours. It suits gyms, playrooms, laundry and storage areas, workshops and finished living spaces, and it can be solid, flake or a striking metallic.

Basements bring one extra challenge: moisture. Concrete slabs on grade can push water vapour up through the floor, and a coating applied over a damp slab can blister or lift. We test for moisture before quoting the system, and where it is elevated we recommend a moisture-mitigating primer or tell you honestly that another option is better.
